I am looking for Baltimore/San Diego OVER 8.5. Baltimore is one of the top hitting teams in baseball. They are on a 5 game winning and hitting the ball well. They are facing Erik Johnson 8.54 era(over 9 with Sd). We look deeper at his 5 starts…In his 5 starts going from most recent he has let up 6,5,5,5,4 runs. So he has been consistently bad with his one start at SD he let up 5 runs. Batting avg against him is .348….379 in June. Also 6 days ago Baltimore put 6 runs on 9 hits on this pitcher so they are familiar with him.  Now lets look at Jiminez pitching for Baltimore and his 6.97 era. he has 8 starts where he has let up 5+ runs. His era on the road is 10.13. On the road teams hit .365 against him(.321 overall .341 in June)..He pitched vs SD last time out let up 2 runs to SD but when you look deeper over those 6 innings he let up 4 hits AND 4 walks and that was considered a good outing. The total is only 8.5 and I dont care if it goes to 9. Pecentages say these pitchers will blow up. And There seems to be no doubt at least 1 will blow up.
