Auburn is favored by 3.5 over Memphis. You can go in many different directions in this one. I hate going against a PRO QB with a team against a team who has no QB. Memphis QB Paxton Lynch will be the #1 QB in the NFL draft. Auburn defense is not great. The Memphis defense is not good either. For Auburn to cover this game they will need to run all over Memphis which is possible. Then there is the coaching Debacle. You have Auburn D coordinator Muschamp  somehow getting the South Carolina job. Although he failed this year its not a good idea to have No DC when preparing for a PRO QB that leads a solid Memphis offense. Memphis head coach decided to turn his back on his kids and go to VA Tech. The game is in Birmingham so a definite pro Auburn crowd.

This game comes down to if Auburn can move the ball easily on ground. Memphis will score some on Auburn. But before you conclude Memphis wants to show up Auburn doesn`t keep this in mind. Auburn seniors have not won a bowl game. Memphis on the other hand was 8-0 dreaming of a bigger bowl before the late season swoon and blowout loss to a good navy team.
